At Wavertree CC, we are seeking to develop your child as a whole through fun, interactive coaching. Sport can play a tremendous role in emotional development and bringing on character traits. Our coaches seek to follow this philosophy as they invest time and effort into our youngsters.

How do I help my kid with their cricket? This is a question we are often asked by parents there are 2 really simple and achievable answer to this - firstly play with your kids as much as possible using bats and balls (not necessarily cricket) and secondly encourage and support them to do a wide range of physical activity and sports.. Helpful websites to look at are believe perform, the coaching journey and get more from sport. Please to avoid coaching your children or telling them what to do.
Above all please try to avoid the temptation of telling your kid what to do and how to do it. Let them play and explore their own technique and method - it might mean their team don't have the best chance of winning on the day but it will be in your child's long term best interests.
Our junior teams play in the Merseyside Youth Cricket Association. Home fixtures will appear on the club calendar on the homepage of the website, however away fixtures are more difficult to include as we have to wait for the host team to advise us of when their ground is available.
